Why is a birthday cake the only food you can blow on and spit on and everybody rushes to get a piece?

Gee golly, I had a swell time last night! I’m terribly sorry I didn’t update yesterday, but I had to get ready to go spend the night at my good buddy’s house. Last night after I got my stuff ready, I headed out to my friend Dustin’s house, anxious to see all my good friends who would be attending the sleepover. Boy was I happy when I saw that almost everyone I knew was having a jolly good time amongst the video games and movies! Even that silly Dan with his “Voodoo Glow Skulls” T-shirt was there. He was yakking it up all night with Dustin!

Before long though, the guys were starved. Luckily, Dustin’s swell parents had been prepared with lots of food for us to enjoy. Gee, thanks Dustin’s parents!

After we all got done eating, the gang was ready to have tons of fun playing all the Nintendo games they had set up. There was even a game where you used an orange gun controller. Neato!

Boy were we surprised when we found out those guns used real bullets. I guess Dan lost that battle!

Things settled down though, because as the night was ending, I think it’s safe to say we all learned a pretty valuable lesson in friendship. I’m not quite sure which lesson Dan learned, but I’m sure it was a good one either way.

Pretty soon we all went to bed and woke up the next morning to go to church. I sure had a great time, and I’ll remember this day for a long time to come! I’m so glad I have super friends like these. Thanks guys!
